We started Cycle Printworks as architecture students at the University of Nottingham, now we print plans for local architecture practices and engineers for great prices and with a fast turnaround. Often we stay open late, get in early or open on holidays in order to meet your deadlines.

Our full colour plan printing is ideal for architectural plans, engineering drawings, structural drawings and CAD plotting.

We use top of the line commercial HP printers for fine line accuracy and excellent colour reproduction.

Lead Time

Plan prints are usually ready to collect the next business day.
Same day, weekend and bank holiday printing is available, please call to check availability if you’d like an urgent print slot.

How it works for ordering Plan and CAD prints online:

1. Purchase your prints and complete the checkout.
   • During checkout select if you’d like to collect from us locally in Lenton, Nottingham or if you’d like us to post your prints.
2. For each batch of different size plans, add a new item to the cart to ensure you get the correct bulk discount.
   • For example, if you have 10A1 and 5A2 to print:
     1. Set the size to A1, the quantity to 10, attach your A1 files to your order using the red upload button, add that batch to your basket.
     2. Return to the plan print product, set the size to A2, the amount to 5, attach your A2 files, add that item to the basket.
     3. Then you can checkout.
3. Alternatively you can purchase all your prints then upload your artwork to us in one go using the plan & CAD file uploader.
   • Ensure your files are in the PDF format (‘PDF for print’ if the option is available) is fine if you made it using office software such as Word, PowerPoint or Publisher or you’re exporting from CAD software that doesn’t have a high quality rasterised file format export option.
   • If you used graphics software please send it as a 300dpi maximum quality CMYK jpeg.
   • Before uploading rename your files according to our file prep guidelines.
4. Have a cup of tea and a biscuit because you finished your design and deserve a break.
5. We print your CAD & Plan prints as soon as possible and then call or text you to let you know when your work is ready to collect if you are local, or get it straight in the post if you’re elsewhere.
